What is meditation?

“Meditation is a simple process of watching your mind. Not fighting with the mind, not trying to control it either. Just remaining there, a choiceless witness. Whatsoever passes, you simply take note of it with no prejudice for, or against.

You should remain non-judgemental.

Because the moment you judge, you lose meditation. You become identified. Either you become a friend or you become a foe. You create relationships. Meditation means remaining unrelated with your thought process, utterly unrelated, cool, calm, watching whatsoever is passing. And then a miracle happens:

Slowly, slowly one becomes aware, that less and less thoughts are passing. The more alert you are, the less thoughts pass, the less alert you are, the more thoughts pass. It is as if traffic depends on your awareness.

When you are perfectly aware, even for a single moment, all thinking stops.  Immediately, there is a sudden stop, and the road is empty, there is no traffic.

That moment is meditation.”

Calm Abiding meditation

I offer Calm abiding meditation to soothe and balance the body. I guide you to scan your body and release any tension you may be holding.  When the physical body is relaxed and breathing finds it natural rhythm, I move you into Breath Awareness meditation.

Breath Awareness meditation

Breath Awareness meditation is a foundational practice focusing attention on the natural rhythm of the breath. I encourage you to be the observer of your thoughts and emotions in a non-judgemental manner, allowing them to pass as does a cloud across an expansive blue sky. Over time, thoughts will quieten, your mind will become more spacious and eventually you will be able to surrender the observer to become one with Consciousness. Breath awareness meditation provides a solid meditation practice for practitioners to explore, over time, the depths of their Consciousness.

Diamond Light meditation 

I enjoy sharing the Diamond Light meditation, as it was downloaded to me in January, 2024.  The offering transports the meditator to the ‘three worlds’ whilst allowing the crystalline diamond light to permeate the physical body, mind, etheric field, chakras, naadis and Mother Earth. The journey transports you to a higher frequency, allowing you to experience and tune in, to your divine self. Each meditator experiences the offering differently and is gifted exactly what is needed at that point in time.

Each individual Soul knows what is needed, to support spiritual growth. Spiritual growth includes healing from past hurts and trauma from this lifetime and past lifetimes. It involves confronting the shadow aspects of the self. The energy of the crystalline light permeates the physical, mental, emotional and Soul levels to release blockages, self-imposed limitations and fears. It restores clarity, strength and balance to your entire system so that you can experience your authentic self.

Meditation Course

I offer a meditation course which runs every six weeks or thereabouts. It is perfect for anyone interested in learning to meditate or wanting to consolidate or/and extend their meditation practice. I teach three meditations in each six week course, allowing for revision and consolidation in class time. It is advisable to practise at home on a daily basis to benefit from the course.

The meditation course is as follows:

Level 1 – Bridge a breath to meditation, Calm Abiding and Breath awareness meditation, Balloon breathing and Mindfulness meditation

Level 2 – Osho Nadabrahma meditation (Tibetan Humming technique), Flame Meditation, Chakra Sounds meditation

Level 3 – Om meditation, Za Za meditation (Sitting at the Source), Osho Gourshaakar meditation (Watching the Third eye)

Level 4 – Osho No dimensions meditation (Sufism centering technique), Kundalini meditation, Atisha’s heart meditation
